The BD Vacutainer Safety-Lok comes with flexible wings that allow greater control during a one-handed application. To enable the user to see when the insertion is successful, blood flashback can be seen through the shield. The BD Vacutainer Safety-Lok comes assembled and ready for use, and built to minimize risk and maximize ease + comfort for both the patient and the caregiver. After samples are collected, the needle can be locked into position as the transparent shield is adjusted over the needle. This ensures the safety for both the patient and caregiver.
